At 2 pm on December 10, 2020, the Psychology Discipline Construction Expert Demonstration Seminar hosted by the School of Social Sciences, China University of Political Science and Law was held at the Tencent Conference.

The School of Sociology has the honor to invite well-known experts in the field of psychology: Researcher Han Buxin, Professor Wu Yanhong and Professor Su Yanjie to provide guidance and suggestions for the discipline construction, talent training, scientific research and other work of our school of psychology, and invite experts and psychology teachers of our school Hold forums and discussions. Associate Professor Zhang Zhuo of the School of Sociology served as the host of this conference. Professor Wang Guofang and Professor Yang Bo of the School of Sociology of our school attended this seminar. Professor Yang Bo first gave a welcome speech. Participating experts made speeches and discussed freely with psychology teachers. Finally, Vice President Wang Guofang made a concluding speech.

In the symposium, Han Buxin, a researcher from the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, provided suggestions for the construction of the psychology discipline of our school, emphasizing that in accordance with the requirements of master's degree, highlight the irreplaceable advantages of politics and law and strengthen the development of famous teachers, courses, teaching materials, and training programs. Professor Wu Yanhong from the School of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of Peking University pointed out that we should start with the management of criminal individuals, groups and human resources. At the same time, we should build internship units and hire teachers in the direction of human resources. Professor Yanjie Su from the School of Psychology and Cognitive Sciences of Peking University suggests to emphasize the advantages of psychology from the perspective of mutual support with other disciplines, highlight the contribution of psychology to the grassroots units, and build undergraduate psychology. At the same time, it points out the integration of major directions to expand professional training models.

Finally, Teacher Zhang Zhuo of the School of Social Sciences thanked all the experts and teachers for their active participation. The seminar ended with warm applause.
